Here are answers to common questions about using EasyCook:

  • How do I save my favorite recipes? Tap the heart icon on a recipe card or in the Recipe Details screen to save it. You can find all your saved recipes by tapping the Saved icon (bookmark) in the bottom navigation bar.

  • Can I suggest new recipes? Currently, EasyCook doesn’t support user-submitted recipes, but you can share your ideas with us! Go to the Settings screen, tap Help and Support, and send us your suggestions.

  • What if I don’t have an ingredient? Use the chatbot for help! Go to the Cooking Tips screen, type what you’re cooking, and ask for substitutions, like "What can I use instead of chicken?" The chatbot will suggest alternatives.

  • How do I watch the preparation video? In the Recipe Details screen, find the "Watch Preparation Video" section. Tap the video thumbnail to play it and follow along while cooking.

  • Why can’t I find a specific recipe? Use the search bar on the home screen to look for a dish by name, like "pasta." You can also filter by category (e.g., Lunch, Dessert) using the dropdown menu next to "ALL."

  • How do I get cooking tips while preparing a recipe? Tap the Tips icon (lightbulb) in the bottom navigation bar to open the Cooking Tips screen. Type what you’re cooking and tap Get Tips to receive advice from the chatbot.

  • Can I adjust the serving size of a recipe? Right now, recipes show a fixed serving size (e.g., 2 servings). You can manually adjust the ingredient amounts based on your needs, or ask the chatbot for help with scaling.

  • What do I do if the app isn’t working properly? Check your internet connection and ensure the app is updated. If the issue persists, go to the Settings screen, tap Help and Support, and contact us for assistance.
