How to Use Dropwise ?

👋 Now that you’ve installed Dropwise, let’s dive into tracking your water intake! Follow these simple steps to stay hydrated with ease.

Tracking Your Water Intake:

  1. Open Dropwise: Launch the app from your home screen.

2-Skipping the Onboarding Screens :

Tap Skip: On any of these screens, look for the Skip button at the bottom (below the "Continue" or "Get Started" button).

3- Logging In to DropWise:

  • Enter Your Details:

    • In the Email Address field, type your registered email.

    • In the Password field, enter your password.

  • Log In:

    • Tap the LOG IN button to sign in.

    • If you forgot your password, tap Reset Password? to get help.

  • Or Use Google:

    • Tap Sign in with Google to log in quickly using your Google account.

  • No Account?:

    • If you’re new, tap Sign Up at the bottom to create an account.

4-Creating an Account on DropWise :

  • Fill in Your Details:

    • Enter a Username (e.g., your name or a nickname).

    • Type your Email Address (use a valid email).

    • Create a Password (make it strong and memorable).

    • Tap Select Date of Birth and choose your birth date.

  • Sign Up:

    • Tap the SIGN UP button to create your account.

  • Or Use Google:

    • Tap Sign up with Google to create an account quickly using your Google account.

5- Viewing Your Water Intake Progress :

  • Check Your Current Intake:

    • At the top, you’ll see Current Intake (e.g., 2.8L). This is how much water you’ve logged today.

  • View Your Weekly Progress:

    • Below the current intake, tap the Week tab (you can also choose Day or Month).

    • You’ll see a graph showing your water intake from 07/03/2025 to 13/03/2025.

    • The graph compares your Daily Goal (green line) to your Water Intake (blue bars).

  • See Your Average:

    • At the bottom, check your Average Week Intake (e.g., 0.4L). This shows your average daily intake for the week.

    • Scroll down or switch views to see a circular progress ring showing your current intake (e.g., 2.8L) out of your daily goal (e.g., 3.0L).

  • Understand the Progress Ring:

    • The ring shows how close you are to your daily goal. For example, 2.8L out of 3.0L means you’re almost there!

  • Switch Views:

    • Tap Day to see today’s intake, or Month for a monthly overview.

6- Setting Your Hydration Goals :

  • Set Your Weight:

    • Tap the Weight (kg) field and enter your weight (e.g., 60 kg).

    • This helps DropWise calculate your water needs.

  • Choose Your Daily Goal:

    • Tap the Daily Goal (L) field and enter your target (e.g., 2L).

    • You’ll see details like:

      • Daily Water Goal: E.g., 1.98L (calculated based on weight).

      • Water per Hour: E.g., 0.12L.

      • Cups per Day (250ml): E.g., 8 cups.

      • % of Goal Achieved: E.g., 12%.

  • Enable Notifications:

    • Toggle the Enable Notifications switch to ON (it turns green).

    • This sets reminders to drink water throughout the day.

  • Set Reminder Times:

    • Below, you’ll see time slots (e.g., 07:00, 09:00, 11:00) with 0.25L per slot.

    • Tap the pencil icon next to a time to change it or adjust the amount.

  • Save Your Settings:

    • Your goals and reminders are automatically saved as you adjust them.

7- Using the Hydration Chatbot :

  • Start the Conversation:

    • You’ll see a welcome message: “We are online! Welcome to our Hydration Chatbot! How can I help you?”

  • Choose Quick Options:

    • Tap Support to get help with account or app issues.

    • Tap Conseils d’hydratation (Hydration Tips) to get advice on staying hydrated.

  • Ask Your Own Question:

    • Type your question in the “Ask about hydration...” box (e.g., “How much water should I drink?”).

    • Tap the send button (the arrow) to submit.

  • Get a Response:

    • The chatbot will reply with helpful answers or guide you to the right feature.

8- Managing Your Profile :

  • View Your Details:

    • See your username (e.g.,@clank_cmc).

    • Check your Username (e.g., clank cmc).

    • View your Email (e.g., clankcmc@gmail.com).

    • Confirm your Birth Date (e.g., 2007-01-01).

  • Make Changes:

    • Tap Account to update your profile details, like your username or email.

    • Tap Privacy & Security to manage your password or app permissions.

    • Tap Help and Support to get assistance or contact support.

    • Tap About to learn more about DropWise, like the app version or terms.

  • Log Out:

    • Tap Log out (next to the settings icon) to sign out of your account.

9- Managing Your Account Settings :

  • Choose an Option:

    • Tap Edit Account to update your details, like your username, email, or password.

    • Tap Delete Account to permanently remove your account (be careful—this can’t be undone!).

  • Follow the Steps:

    • If editing, make your changes and save.

    • If deleting, confirm your choice (you might need to enter your password).

  • Go Back:

    • Tap the back arrow (top left) to return to the settings menu.

10- Managing Privacy & Security Settings :

  • Choose an Option:

    • Tap Clear App Data to remove all your app data, like hydration history (this can’t be undone!).

    • Tap Session Timeout to set how long the app stays logged in (e.g., 30 min) before logging you out automatically.

    • Tap Backup and Encryption to toggle it ON or OFF (when ON, your data is backed up securely).

    • Tap Privacy Policy to read DropWise’s privacy policy.

  • Make Changes:

    • For Session Timeout, select a time and save.

    • For Backup and Encryption, toggle the switch as needed.

    • For Clear App Data, confirm your choice if prompted.

  • Go Back:

    • Tap the back arrow (top left) to return to the settings menu.

11- Getting Help and Learning About DropWise :

  • Access Help and Support:

    • Tap Help and Support to find assistance.

    • This might take you to a support page, FAQ, or the Hydration Chatbot for help with app issues.

  • Learn About DropWise:

    • Tap About to view information about the app.

    • You’ll find details like the app version, terms of service, or developer info.
